Everyone ages, regardless of whether they want to or not. Everyone ages at different rates due to various factors. Here is some excellent advice to help you to both look and feel younger.

Stop worry about numbers when it comes to aging. You can easily get depressed as you see your age increase, your height shrink and your weight fluctuate. You will still need some numbers for medical reasons but you should not weight yourself down every day.

In order to age well, it is vital to follow a balanced diet. Your diet should be filled with whole grains, fiber, fruits and vegetables, and a minimal amount of cholesterol, trans fats and saturated fats. Your body will then be full of vitamins and nutrients that you need to stay healthy.

Increase the intensity of your exercise program. When you get older you will need to be more active to stay strong. Do 30 minutes of cardiovascular activity, four to five days per week. Your home is your castle, and that only grows more true as you age. Make it personalized and able to fit your needs, especially if you deal with age related limitations. Your home should be comfortable and a refuge from the outside world. You will always appreciate coming home, or even staying there all day.

You should try and pass on joy and happiness, no matter who you are with or where you are at. If you will make those around you happy, it will make you a happier person. Happiness is priceless. It doesn't cost a penny.

As your age increases, your home is thought of a safe haven. When life becomes stressful, you should be able to return to your home and enjoy yourself in a highly personal, comforting environment. Living in your home should be a joy and comfort.

The older you get, the more important it is to have your home be a place of safety and refuge. Make your home your own space so that you feel comfortable there after a very hard day. Your home is always there waiting to welcome you back.
